Marcos is very deserving of this honor. He has been a very consistent member since joining. This guy was already a beast before joining us however his drive to get better is evident. He makes a coach’s work easier because he is very coachable, seeks advice, and is always working on technique to improve his strength and fitness goals. When Marcos isn’t doing a class, you can find him assaulting the bench press Wednesday night with the crew for chest day! Who said you don’t bench at CrossFit? Congrats bro you deserve this recognition.

What is the biggest change you’ve seen in yourself since you started CrossFit?
The biggest change that I've seen in myself since I started is strength and endurance.
What do you like about it?
What I like about CrossFit is that it never gets boring because of the constant change in the workouts. The trainers and members are great too. On the days when I'm struggling, it's nice to have that encouragement from others.
What is your favorite CrossFit movement?
Bar muscle up. It's the one movement that was hardest for me to learn. I practiced two to three times a week for two months before I finally got one.
What would you say to someone who wants to try it?
Don't be intimidated by the workouts. Everyone there is willing to help. Don't feel like you have to keep up with everyone else. Go at your own pace.
What is something people might not know about you?
I like to do obstacle course races and road races.
