Prior to CrossFit, I was involved in Olympic Weightlifting and before that bodybuilding. It wasn't until a friend of mine, who took me through a CrossFit benchmark workout: Cindy (AMRAP x 20 minutes of 5 Pull-ups, 10 Push - ups & 15 Squats) where I fell in love with the sport. Before CrossFit, I would spend countless hours in the gym, now I workout less and make more improvements.
What I love most about CrossFit is how every movement is functional, complex, and scalable -anyone can do it! I also love how CrossFit teaches us to become mentally stronger. There are so many movements to learn, but each day you show up, and the effort you put in, you'll always become better, even if its 1%.
